Additionally, Rockwell Collins has ongoing contracts with various acquisition systems commands within the US. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Army for the procurement of ARC-210 equipment. AN/ARC-210(V) - Overview The AN/ARC-210 Multimode Integrated Communications System provides 2 way multimode voice and data communications over the 30-512 MHz frequency range in either normal, secure or jam-resistant modes via LOS or satellite communications (SATCOM) links. The ARC-210 family of equipment is made up of several variants of the receiver-transmitter, each providing a specific combination of functionality to meet user platform requirements. AN/ARC-210(V) - Description The AN/ARC-210 Receiver-Transmitter (RT) is the nucleus of a Multimode Communications System. ARC-210 products are offered in several models, which may be coupled with a full complement of ancillary equipment, to provide the user community with unmatched versatility and exceptional capability. The RT-1556B and associated radio products provide LOS V/UHF capability and HAVE QUICK, HAVEQUICK II, and SINCGARS ECCM waveforms. The RT-1794(C), RT-1824(C), and RT-1851(C) are network capable and include embedded COMSEC, 5 kHz and 25 kHz Dedicated and DAMA SATCOM, and is certified to MIL-STD-188-181B/-182A/-183. The AN/ARC-210 operates via the MIL-STD-1553B data bus. A Night Vision Goggle (NVG) green lighted remote control unit is available for manual control of the RT. These are powered by 5 V AC or DC, 28 V AC or DC, or 115 V AC. A remote indicator and a family of broadband, electronically tunable antenna are available to enhance system performance. High power amplifiers (HPA) and Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA) are also available. Under the tenants of acquisition reform, the ARC-210 Program has transitioned from a programmatic "oversight" approach to a "shared-business" approach which has reduced system cost, increased system reliability, and assured the rapid infusion of new technology into the product to permit enhanced performance and manage parts obsolescence. The Rockwell Collins AN/ARC-210 Multimode Communications System is the United States Navy standard V/UHF Airborne Communications System, managed by NAVAIR PMA 209. It is being installed in all U.S. Navy tactical aircraft, as well as in over 150 platforms in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs, U.S. Army and international services. A sampling of domestic platforms include the F/A-18, F-117, F-15, MV-22, CV-22, AH-1W, AWACS, B-52, MH-53, CH-46, C-17, C-5, KC-135, RC-135, E-4B, C-130, AH-64, MH-60S/R, UH-60, US101, Global Hawk, Predator, J-UCAS, MMA, eight DDG-51s, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), and two CVNs. Internationally, the AN/ARC-210 is installed in Canada on Utility Tactical Transport Helicopter, MHP, C-130, CP-140, and F/A-18; in Finland on the F/A-18; in Australia on F/A-18, C-130, Air87 Tiger helicopter, Wedgetail; in Switzerland on F/A-18s; on the AH-64 for Egypt & Singapore; on P-3s for Denmark & Netherlands. The basic LOS ARC-210 products, without ECCM capability, can be exported to virtually any country in the world with an approved Department of State (DoS) export license. Those ARC-210 variants with ECCM capability can be exported; however, a country must have the appropriate ECCM waveform authorization and an approved Department of State export license must be obtained. Countries desiring SINCGARS and/or embedded COMSEC capability can only receive those capabilities via a country-to-country Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case. AN/ARC-210(V) - Operating Features AN/ARC-210 operates between 30 to 512 MHz within the following frequency bands: 30 - 88 MHZ FM Normal/secure voice, 150 Hz tone transmission, SINCGARS-V 108 - 137 MHz AM Normal voice, 121.5 MHz Guard Receiver, ADF, 108 - 118 MHz receive only 137 - 156 MHz AM/FM Normal/secure voice, 1020 Hz tone transmission, ADF 156 - 174 MHz FM Maritime normal/secure voice 225 - 400 MHz AM Normal/secure voice, 1020 Hz tone transmission, ADF, CASS/DICASS, HAVE QUICK, HAVE QUICK II, 243 MHz Guard Receiver 400 - 512 MHz FM Normal voice, with/without CTCSS tones |
